DEEP COVE + QUARRY ROCK HIKE

Deep Cove is a small residential community nestled at the shores of Indian Arm, a branch of the Burrard Inlet. A two-block town centre boasts quaint boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants, however the main attraction here are outdoor activities including kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. Lessons and rentals are available at the main beach.

Most people visiting Deep Cove are here for the Quarry Rock hike (part of the Baden Powell Trail), a moderate hike crossing many wooden bridges and leading to a large rock featuring a stunning view of Indian Cove and the Indian Arm. Access the Baden Powell trailhead on Panorama Road just beyond the main public parking area. Parking is busy, especially on weekends, so consider public transit as an alternative mode of transportation.
