Lynn Canyon Park is a great destination for you to hike, relax or picnic in beautiful nature and even take a refreshing dip in a swimming hole. It also features a the twin falls and a suspension bridge that connects both sides of the canyon 50 metres above ground. This is the little sister of the Capilano Suspension Bridge and it’s free!
For walks or hikes you have the option of a number of shorter loops covering all the major spots or you can expand your hike and connect to Lynn Headwaters Regional Park or continue along the Baden Powell trail which crosses the North Shore.
The park is also home to the Lynn Valley Ecology Centre which offers information, souvenirs and free drop-in tours in the summer (check the website for details).
From downtown Vancouver you have a couple of options:
1. Take the bus #210 from Granville and Georgia Street to Phibbs Exchange, then transfer to Bus #227.
2. Take the Seabus to Londsdale Quay and take #229 to Lynn Valley Centre. From there you can walk to the Park’s main entrance (approx. 15 minutes) or transfer to bus #227 to be taken right to the Park.
