Steveston is a has the look and feel of a small seaside village even though it is part of the busy city of Richmond. Located where the Fraser River meets the Salish sea, this spot boasts a lively Fishermen’s Wharf where you can buy the day’s fresh catch right of the boat. Strolling by historic homes, you can linger in one of the restaurants or shops along the way. Also right by the water is Garry Point Park where you take a walk keeping an eye out for local wildlife, including eagles, sea lions or even orcas. For a longer walk, run or bike ride check out the dyke running north along the water and take in more stunning views.
Take the Canada line from Downtown to Richmond-Brighouse and catch the 410 bus to Steveston Highway @ No. 1 Road.
