WHYTECLIFF PARK

Whytecliff Park is a great destination for a leisurely afternoon enjoying a picnic on the rock and taking in the fantastic views of Howe Sound and watching ferries come and go from nearby Horseshoe Bay. The waters around the park are home to over 200 marine animal species and offer a great opportunity for wildlife viewing. The bottom part of the park offers swimming, climbing, diving and some short hikes. At low tide you can hike to and climb up Whyte Island for even better views. The upper part of the park gives access to a more expansive network of hikes. Access these hikes from the overflow parking lot.
